Scheduled Power Maintenance - US1 Data Center (June 22, 2024) Jun 22, 2024 12:00 - Jun 23, 2024 01:00 UTC
Dear Customer,

Our data center operator has scheduled power system maintenance in the US1 (Dallas, USA) location for June 22. One of the power feeds will be unavailable during the works.

The works will not affect the availability of your virtual machines and cloud services. However, there will be an impact on power redundancy.

Each server with two power supply units (PSU) is connected to both feeds, so one of the PSUs will be de-energized.

Maintenance details:

Starting date: June 22, 2024, 12:00 (UTC)
Ending date: June 23, 2024, 01:00 (UTC)
(Note: June 22, 2024, 12:00 (UTC) = June 22, 2024, 07:00 Dallas time)
Impact: Power redundancy loss
Affected services: The works will not affect the availability of your servers via the public and private networks. There will be no expected impact on the operation of virtual machines and the availability of our services.

Reason for Maintenance:
The neutron_openvswitch_agent has gone into a failed state, and an urgent restart is required to prevent this problem from spreading.

Expected Impact:
These virtual machines (whose owners will be informed separately) in the EU1 cloud will experience a brief outage. We expect the outage to last no more than 20 seconds.

Please be aware that due to the critical nature of this service, if any VMs are unavailable for more than 1 minute, please notify us immediately.
